While most San Antonio programs use the TEAS 7, UIW is the major HESI A2-required program in the area:

UIW requires a minimum total score of 75% and 75% or higher in each required section of the HESI A2. The exam covers Math, Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary and General Knowledge, Anatomy & Physiology, and Biology. Scores must be dated within 12 months of application.
UIW provides HESI A2 testing through their campus testing services. You can also take the exam at other approved testing centers. The application process goes through NursingCAS.
