Which San Antonio Nursing Schools Require the TEAS 7?
Most BSN and ADN programs in San Antonio require the ATI TEAS 7. Score requirements vary — verify with your target program before booking your exam.

San Antonio TEAS 7 Frequently Asked Questions
The TEAS 7 is offered at the Alamo Colleges testing centers (San Antonio College, St. Philip's College), at UT Health SA, and through ATI's remote proctoring platform. Note: SAC and St. Philip's require in-person testing only — remote proctored scores are not accepted.
UTHSA's Traditional BSN program requires a minimum overall TEAS score of 65. There is no limit on retakes — the highest score from the current TEAS version will be considered. You also need a 3.0 prerequisite GPA and completion of 51 of 60 required prerequisite hours.

Most students need 4 to 8 weeks of consistent preparation. For UTHSA applicants targeting the 65+ threshold, 4–6 weeks is usually sufficient. For Alamo Colleges students needing 70%+ at St. Philip's, plan for 5–7 weeks.
