Dallas TEAS 7 Frequently Asked Questions

The TEAS 7 is offered at most DFW nursing schools' testing centers and at ATI-authorized proctoring sites. UTA, TCU, and TWU allow campus testing. You can also take a remotely proctored version via ATI's online platform from home.
UTA requires a minimum of 58.7% (Proficient level) in all four sections of the TEAS 7: Reading, Math, Science, and English and Language Usage. All four sections must meet this threshold from the same test attempt. You can retake every 30 days, up to 3 times per year.
Tarrant County College (TCC) requires the HESI A2 — not the TEAS 7. If TCC is your target school, check out our Dallas HESI A2 prep page → instead. If you're applying to both TCC and a TEAS-required program, we can prepare you for both exams simultaneously.
Most students need 4 to 8 weeks of consistent preparation. With personalized tutoring that targets your specific weak areas, many students achieve their goal score in 4 to 6 weeks. TWU applicants aiming for the competitive 87%+ composite should plan for 6–8 weeks.
